Athletics and Clubs

At Ventura Park we believe that extracurricular activities are important for students. Extracurricular activities are offered on a volunteer basis by staff members.

Athletics

This year, with our expanding grades at the Junior level, grade 4 and 5 students are being given the opportunity to try out for a school team in the following sports:
Junior Co-ed Volleyball
Junior Girls Basketball
Junior Boys Basketball
Junior Track and Field

Selected students will participate in an Area tournament against other school teams. Regional tournaments are held for winning teams of each YRDSB school Area. Go Ventura Vikings!

Clubs

A variety of clubs is offered throughout the school year and clubs vary according to teachers’ available time to devote to extracurricular activities.
